Baku was founded on the beaches of Sydney, through its original brand Bubbles Beach Co, in 1969. 1995 saw the introduction of the BAKU label and in 1999 the company changed hands to the next generation, brother and sister, Dax & Tamara Bykerk. The owners are also the design duo behind the BAKU brand, crafting each print and silhouette to ensure it is just right for you!

This family owned Australian company continues to make all it’s beautiful swimwear here in Australia as we are big believers in keeping it local.
