DFO Brisbane is proud to introduce Communication Boards to our Centre as an initiative to improve accessibility for our Guests, particularly those who may experience communication challenges.

Our Communication Board, developed in partnership with Access Ability Australia (AAA) and customised to our Centre, includes contextualised symbols and visuals to allow our Guests to express needs, make choices and interact with our Team.

For convenience, our Communication Board can be downloaded from the Access Ability Australia website prior to your visit or find our Communication Boards located at our Centre Management Office and Customer Service Desk where our Team can assist.
