DFO Brisbane provides accessible restrooms and parent rooms throughout the centre to support the comfort and convenience of all visitors.
Parent Rooms
Parent rooms are available in the following locations:
DFO Brisbane welcomes accredited service and assistance animals, including those in training. These animals must remain with their handler at all times and be clearly identifiable as working, typically through a harness, lead, or vest.
For assistance animals that are not dogs, handlers may be asked to provide documentation confirming the animal is trained to assist with a disability and meets appropriate standards of hygiene and behaviour in public spaces, in accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act 1992.
If your service animal requires a relief break, a leafy green zone is available outside the 18th Avenue entrance.
Please note: Emotional support animals that provide comfort but are not officially trained to alleviate the effects of a disability are not permitted in the centre. DFO Brisbane staff or security may request evidence of proper accreditation for any assistance animal.
To support a comfortable shopping experience, seating areas have been thoughtfully placed throughout the centre. These resting spots offer convenient places to pause and recharge between stores.
The Food Court also provides ample seating, making it a great place to relax, enjoy a meal, or take a break during your visit.
Additionally, outdoor seating is available near the main entrances of the centre, offering a quiet space to rest before or after your shopping trip.
For customers needing to store personal items or luggage during their visit, there are two convenient options available:
Luggage storage lockers are located in the undercover car park for your convenience as a self-service. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be pre-booked. Locker prices vary by size, with small lockers available for $10, medium lockers for $16, and large lockers for $20.
DFO Brisbane proudly participates in the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Scheme, which supports and raises awareness for individuals living with non-visible disabilities.
We understand that some conditions, disabilities, or chronic illnesses may not be immediately apparent. Our staff have been trained to recognise the Sunflower lanyard and are ready to offer assistance at any point during your visit. If you need help, please feel free to approach any team member.
Customers who identify as having a hidden or invisible disability can collect a Sunflower lanyard from either the Customer Service Desk (located in the Food Court), or the Centre Management Office (located in the corridor next to Polo Ralph Lauren).
Wearing the lanyard is a discreet way to let centre staff and retailers know that you may require additional support.
